Maintainance
TPA ROBOT is honored to have passed ISO9001 and ISO13485 quality management system certification. Our products are produced in strict accordance with the production process. Every component is incoming inspected and every linear actuators is tested and quality checked before delivery. However, linear actuators are precision motion system components and as such require regular inspection and maintenance.
So why need to maintenance?
Because the linear actuator is an automatic precision motion system components, regular maintenance ensures best lubrication inside the actuator, otherwise it will lead to increased motion friction, which will not only affect the accuracy, but also directly lead to a decrease in service life, so regular inspection and maintenance are required.
Daily inspection
About ball screw linear actuator and electric cylinder
Inspect component surfaces for damage, indentations and friction.
Check whether the ball screw, track and bearing have abnormal vibration or noise.
Check whether the motor and coupling have abnormal vibration or noise.
Check whether there is unknown dust, oil stains, traces in sight, etc.
About Belt drive linear actuator
1. Inspect component surfaces for damage, indentations and friction.
2. Check whether the belt is tensioned and whether it meets the tension meter parameter standard.
3. When debugging, you should check the parameters to be synchronized to avoid excessive speed and collision.
4. When the module program starts, people should leave the module at a safe distance to avoid personal injury.
About direct drive linear motor
Inspect component surfaces for damage, dents and friction.
During the handling, installation and use of the module, be careful not to touch the surface of the grating scale to prevent contamination of the grating scale and affect the reading of the reading head.
If the encoder is a magnetic grating encoder, it is necessary to prevent the magnetic object from contacting and approaching the magnetic grating ruler, so as to avoid the magnetic receding or being magnetized of the magnetic grating ruler, which will lead to the scrapping of the magnetic grating ruler.
Whether there are unknown dust, oil stains, traces, etc.
Make sure that there are no foreign objects within the moving range of the mover
Check whether the reading head window and the surface of the grating scale are dirty, check whether the connecting screws between the reading head and each component are loose, and whether the signal light of the reading head is normal after power-on.
